A Little Girl Poem by jawaher ahmad

The wind was blowing 
& the sky was snowing 
The little girl didn't know 
Where she was going 
The emptiness was absorbing 
What left of her hope 
Leaving her with nothing 
But much more mope 
It could be a punishment 
The little girl said
But how can I be punished 
For something that I've never did
Maybe it's just a test
To see how much I'm strong 
Or perhaps it's just a dream
That has been going for too long
The wind kept blowing 
& the sky kept snowing 
The little girl knew 
Where she was going 
She sat on the ground 
& released a deep sigh
Finally allowing her tears 
To fall down her eyes
She prayed God that heaven
Is where she was gonna fly 
Then closed her eyes 
& liberated her soul to the sky
