A Lone Bird Sang Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

A Lone Bird Sang

A bird
A lone bird sang
In the wide heavens
Below
Mists circulated in a rainbow
Trance
Ecstasy of beauty
Carousel of beauty
Circulating in the airs
And the thick shadows
Night was gone
And winter was suppressed
Albeit far
From her own ending:
Yet
As yet
A bird
A lone bird sang
In the wide heavens
Below
Mists circulated in a rainbow
Trance
Ecstasy of beauty
