A Long Walk Poem by chas garcia

A Long Walk

There is an old saying; beware of the heart you break, it may be your own. This is true as a heart is vulnerable. As my heart in the past.So now I prefer to be in the middle of a circle, as a circle is round very strong has no exit.There-for, I envision myself as a monkey in a cage, looking out at the world feeling comfortable in a given age.As re-tired I feel that you are the one outside this circle, not me, as all my comforts are action free.I paid my dues at a given rate, and I shall do my time.I say; pay attention to me and you shall do just fine.See the wisdom that I share as true as I stay within my circle, keep my sanity.remember a long walk, a short talk,
listen to the message I share with you.
