A Love Song For You

Words born of my heart
To the one whose own, I am
The loveliest of the creator's art
To you I write this psalm;
Bear in mind I hold you dear
Forever and always, I want you near
You make the Sun that lights my sky
You bear my feet that I reach high
To you alone my lips, this, sing
Make it, in your mind, ever ring
I call this piece a song for you
Let it be of my love, a cue.

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
