A Memoir To Pelham Bay Poem by White Tiger

A Memoir To Pelham Bay

As I crossed the bridge
From the train to the street
I could smell the flowers
And grass at my feet
The greenery bush was dense and deep
You could barely see
The path of concrete
As I walked in deeper
The path got steeper
The squirrels were chasing
One another for mating
The birds were singing
Echoes were ringing
The park was empty
But the sun shined plenty
I made my way
All the way to the bay
Where the smell of seaweed
Embraced the day
I stood by the fence
And just stared
Of into the sunset
Where the sky and horizon paired
It was a day to remember
Early september
Where my thoughts
Of Pelham Bay, became a memory, forever.
