A Needed View
I need a view of one who's true,
who'll see me through
missteps in life,
ill-lighted strife.
Not run away at break of day
but lead the way
on roads of doubt,
no backing out.
A love who'll help rekindle dreams
when life, it seems,
has taken flight
from all that's right.
