A New Dawning Poem by Sandra Feldman

A New Dawning

Rating: 5.0

The Devil,
Plays
Down and Dirty!
At every chance,
He gets!
He mingles death, destruction
Disorder, he does best
Creating trouble
Where no trouble was
His Evil does not rest!

Much distortion,
Cruel divisions
Are provoked
With red blood zest,
And disruptive,
Propaganda!
Don't be a Devil-Doer
Make change occur
With open, peaceful,
Lasting Hands,
You can change, the course
Rationally not maniacally
Words work better than
Violent destruction,
And Rational behavior,
Much better than
Brute Force- -
In every land.

Barbarians brought on
"The Dark Ages".
Thirst for Independence,
Self expression
Peace and opportunity,
Was the New Dawning
That built our Nation,
And blessed this Land!

A brilliant and powerful write so well crafted and executed. A timely write on political issues. I concur with the wonderful thoughts of the great Poetess especially those mentioned in the ultimate stanza.
