Silent night violent emotions
Disturbed moods perturbed thoughts
Evasive peace elusive sleep
Hoping for a magic wand
To put me onto the lap of sleep
In her lap rapped me the sleep
After playing hide and seek
Tired body and troubled soul
Took a refuge in her dreamy prowl
A freaky dream in black and white
Engrossed me to a scary sight
Frogs striped black and white
Growing big with every croak
Sporting canines like lions and tigers
Clogging with their cave like mouths
Pulled me towards with sticky tongues
The touch of which drowsed me to sleep
In the dream I slept to have a dream
A stroll I went along the river side
All of a sudden the river was in spate
A wild fire broke out on the banks of river
Stranded I am in between groped by shiver and fear
Descending darkness dimmed my eyes
All the reptiles venomous in nature, crept
their way towards my side leaving me with no more hopes
Running forward, a huge tree I found
Branches of which spread to all the sides
Thanking my luck for finding a rope dangling down
Quick I climbed holding that only to find a very huge python
Cursing my bad luck finding no way to go
I ran to the other branch spread above the river
Lo! The tree started growing up in alarming speed
Lifting me to dizzy heights dousing my hopes for survival
In the melee of scary dreams I pushed myself down from my cot
A sigh of relief comforted my heart finding myself out from nightmare!

A nightmare's story described well in rhyme, unpleasant experiences in our conscious life become nightmares in sleep.
