A Pig's Prayer (Unrealistic-Humor Only) Poem by Lloyd Savage

A Pig's Prayer (Unrealistic-Humor Only)

O Dear Lord please help me to be a pig today
For you know I love to eat in every kind of way.
And help me feed my little ones and grow some jaws of fat
So lead me Lord unto the deepest trough no matter where it's at.
For yes Dear Lord though I'm a pig and I really love to eat
Just don't make my life so hard I too, become a treat!
Yet bless me for the bacon, I'll carry home each day
Or to where ever it is I go about, in the gluttonous of ways.
So when my life is over, I'd surely too be blessed,
For being the pig you've made of me
Even if I've made a mess!

Porcine humour never hurt anyone. I tend towards Tigers. They feature well in Just So stories :)
