allurement
dreams,
breaks like a glass.
even relationships breaks
but love......
how can it break so easily.!
love builts on hopes,
of a new tomorrow.
always ready to jump
into the ocean
of deep bliss.
love.....always vigilant
of its own status
in the altar of marriage.
it is like the melting
of the candle,
bit by bit,
in the heat of love.
it is the fire of obalation,
in marriage,
which, burns the ego
to generate love
and compassion.
love gives itself
in the firey words
of the mantras,
which binds soul to soul!
love.....
slowly turns,
into a song of tolerance,
faith and forgiveness.
it becomes a strange fragrance
of the sacred song of the lovers.
only gods blessings,
keeps the love alive!
A lovely composition on love with amazing metaphors. 10 with pleasure.
Yeah, love is not just the 'common' way people thought about it. Love is a verb. It's a good poem.
Ritty, this is once again a lovely written poem. For me love is everything, if I had to live without it, my life would be an emptiness. Kahlil Gibran write on marrige: - 'Give your hearts, but not into each others keeping. For only the hand of life can contain your hearts. Stand together yet not near together: For the pillars of the temple stand apart, And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each others shadow.' regards Bob
I loved most this line from your poem......'it becomes a strange fragrance of the sacred song of the lovers'...........I feel this one line captures love love in all its shades
The last many lines elevate the theme. Good. Love becomes a problem and burden for us when it becomes conditional. Statements like 'despite my loving him/her/my friend/... he/she/my friend did not receprocate' suggest that love is only conditional. We have only right in life that right is to express our love unconditionally, but if we expect it return, it can be a miserable situation. The expectation that I be loved can drive us into dark caves of life. Perhaps the other person may be actually returning our love but not in the manner that we would expect. This is a problem. We have some pre-defined patterns for the expression of love and if the world doesn't return our love as per our definitions, we are easily hurt.
Love in married life...the unbreakable bond and the sacredness...your poem dwells nicely on all these aspects...good work Ritty...thanks...10
