A Poet's Mind, The Creative Moment Poem by Sandra Feldman

A Poet's Mind, The Creative Moment

Rating: 5.0

The images that come and go
The thoughts in poet's mind
Flashes of light
That grow and grow
Illuminating, poet's sky
Translating, psychic insights wide,
Seeing and molding instant flight
Never before by poet felt,
But now, intense, and wide and svelte
That cannot just be left behind,
Feelings so deep you think you'll burst
Into a million stars that shine and hurt,
Like when giving birth.

I write. Occasionally I wonder if it's good enough. It doesn't matter.

A wonderful poem, Sandra. I just wish it was the same for me. No blinding lights but plenty of insights.+++10
