A Prayer In Time Proves Quite Sublime! Poem by Denis Martindale

How sweet the words of holy prayers, when whispered by the saints,
Or gently spoken, when one cares, and then God's answer gains.
Since answered prayer grants more belief, for even greater things,
To bring some stranger fast relief, through Christ, the King of Kings.

To turn around some sorry tale, transforming it to joy,
Through constant love, that cannot fail, to bless each girl and boy.
So whisper, every now and then, or speak the truth in love,
So God will hear you once again, upon His Throne above.
