A Promise Of Love Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

A Promise Of Love

As a fragile rose blooms it declares elation...
putting aside any fears that loom overhead
The prophecy of winds and pelting rain
dissipate when soft whisperings are said

The warmth of a gentle hand relieves anxiety
A quick snip does not cause injury or alarm
Chosen as a beautiful symbol of undying love
Given with a smile and undeniable charm
