A Question To Self Poem by Ishpal Singh

A Question To Self

The Poor Decorative Platoons

You flaunt to folks, your intelligence and prudence;
Have you ever exposed your frenzy sense?

You exhibit yourself to the world as kind and humane;
Can you disclose that inside you are, how slay and insane?

You boast you speak the truth always,
Have you ever showed up, your hidden liar face?

You try to draw the crowd towards you;
Can you ever drown into the loneliness of you?

Your repute is nothing but a self proclaimed;
Can you count those deeds where your soul is nude and ashamed?

Thanks

Ishpal Sunny Singh.
