Magnanimity Of Lord Poem by Ishpal Singh

Magnanimity Of Lord

MAGNANIMITY OF LORD….

I started my journey with empty hand,
To this unseen unknown but divine land.

I see the glimpse of his showery blessings,
in every grub and every stone,
Reflection of his precious being is omnipresent like his celestial clone.

Only with his magnanimity, every life flourish and thrive,
Even the breeze flowing has his Godly vibe.

Bees for honey sip nectar from flowers,
Florets endure the pain and accepts the hurt with humbleness profound,
Bee echoes their thanks with their rythamic humming sound.
The night unfolds starry sparkling diamonds,
And dawn busts the gold of the Sun.

Trees offer shadows and fruits, As alms of the generous divine.
And Sun spreads light and life through its endless Sunshine.

The Clouds fill the cup and jars of river and oceans,
For it collide and dissolve to the hills but spread Lord's bounty with pleasing lights and thrills.

The water falls generously to deliver every dropp it has.
Though a little is needed for the thirst perhaps.
They sing the supreme's song of nobility in their uproar of flow that never zaps.

At last he gifted humanity with blessings, power and intellect enormous,
He contemplated our being for his incomplete purpose.

Alas! We failed to accomplisg his intent,
And running this eternity to his utmost torment.

(Thoughts inspired by Great Sri Rabindra Nath Tagore)
