A ragged man
In the torn and tattered clothes,
Somewhat uncouth and clumsy
He singing,
Singing the song of Rama,
In pain,
But singing,
Singing the song of Rama
So soulfully
Lost in Rama!
On hearing him,
I felt,
Felt it within,
How the voice so soulful,
The melody of the song,
The lyrical note
And lilting of it!
But oh, the tragedy is in
Even the Lord did not
Such a singer of his,
Such a divine singer of his!
