Attributes of distinction
Give a combination
Of traits that are unique
Planned creation…

Designer dogs are special
They hold a privileged place
Unlike the common mutts
Who have fallen from grace

I for one have had
Loyal four legged friends…
Referred to as mongrel
Who protect and defend

Constant companions
With one thing in mind
Devotion without reservation
Each distinctive…one of a kind

When it comes to merit
Does it depend on dollar signs?
The true pedigree of value
Is not dependent on royal lines
