A Selective Reality Poem by Eden Hurley

A Selective Reality

I’d rather
Keep wondering
If you love me,
Than know
That you don’t.
Giddy reverie
Towes me
Closer
Than heartbreak
Soon forgotten.

At your age, Eden, I seriously suspect I was writing hopeless, cliche 'oh please, please tell me you love me' poems. I adore this with its perfect title, succinct expression and maturity. Keep writing. You're as inspiring as a storm on the horizon. Well done! Christine PS - Loved you bio! :)
