Letting Go Poem by Eden Hurley

Letting Go

Rating: 5.0

I’m giving up for a while,
Let the chaos be settled,
Let the turmoil quiet,
Let the rebels have peace.

I’m letting go for a second,
Let the wind sing again,
Let the rain play freely,
Let the sunshine melt.

I’m relaxing for a minute,
Let the daisies be tickled,
Let the violets be baubles,
Let the roses be picked.

I’m letting it go.

I love this piece! ! ! 'let the rebels have peace' is my favorite line but the whole piece speaks of the dawning awareness in us all from time to time that we are holding on too tightly to life sometimes. Sometimes we just need to relax and breathe and let go. Great work.
