A Shattered Heart Poem by Hunter Tyler

I wish you knew how much I loved you,
I wish you knew how much I cared.
I want to feel your lips against mine,
I want to feel the warmth of your hugs.
I wish I could tell you how I feel,
But i'm to shy, consumed by fear.
I always stay up at night thinking about you,
Coming up with things that I wish would happen.
I may not be perfect, not even close,
But atleast I care, and thats enough.
I know we will probably never be the same,
But I wish we could start all over.
I know we will probably never be together,
But I'll keep you in heart, and you'll stay there forever,
Wouldn't it be the perfect crime,
 If I stole your heart like you stole mine.
