A Ship Called Earth Poem by G.B. Smith

A Ship Called Earth

We are all space travelers
from the day of our birth

Traveling the Galaxy
on A Ship Called Earth

Around and around
we circle the Sun
from the day we are born
till our life here is done

And when we depart
and our soul is set free

we join the other stars
in the galaxy

Winking and blinking
all through the night

at the space travelers
that are still in flight

We hear them pray
and we hear them curse

as they pass us by
on A Ship Called Earth
