A Silence I Can Not Name Poem by Amanda Shelton

A Silence I Can Not Name

Rating: 5.0

There is in life a silence
I can not name but it brings
with it sorrow and pain
for I have learned to feel in my
own silence to keep my feelings
locked up tight by lock and key
for I find it easier to feel in my own
silence thin to have others fell for me

You have chosen a title that captures the interest of the reader. The last line could perhaps read [silence than to have others feel for me]. Good effort here. Adeline

This one needs both a spell check and a definition explanation in order to make sense. I suggest a very close rereading by a close friend. GW62
