A Silent Night Poem by Daniel Ramos

You stand outside in the cold night. You start to shake with shivers and fright. But then you open your eyes so wide. Surprise to see me by your side. I open my arms and wrap around you. You stop shaking for you knew. That you will never come to harm... and that is true. In my arms you will be safe. From any cold and frightened place. You close your eyes and lay your head on my chest. You relax your mind and let it rest. Now its quiet and so calm. I lift your cheek with my palm. You open up your eyes to see. How I ve fallen for you so deepely. I touch your lips so slow with a kiss. Such a chance I will not miss. And when I do u start to smile. For you feel something you havent in a while. A feeling so warm in your heart. And with me that feeling will not drift apart. With me you will never shed a tear. For I will always be right here. I will never give you up or let you down. For you are my angel....a lost star that I found.
