Within
But beyond
The silence of a moment
A solitary note
Draws the Self from self
Into a loving nothingness
Where the secret of all
Is locked.
Beyond the beyond,
Soul in joy
And knowingness
Basks in the bliss
That the IT IS is
Before returning
All too soon
Into the present
Of another moment
Seemingly
Retaining nothing more
Than perhaps vague memories.
But within,
Deep within,
A renewed
Inner peace glows –
A peace
That radiates itself
In the eyes
And in the smile.

A gentle aura of thoughts and melody in a solitary moment of nothingness flows within the spirit of your expression. A peace That radiates itself In the eyes And in the smile. soul touching smile. regards
Valsa, once again, thanks for your comments... they're most appreciated. I've read your poem, A Slice of Paradise, and comment on it there. A lot of my poems com following HU contemplations. I consider them as gifts since although I may write them down, they come without my having to think about them.
But within, Deep within, A renewed Inner peace glows – A peace That radiates itself In the eyes And in the smile. Reading this, I remember to have had a similar mystical experience, that transcended all commotion and fever inside! I can so well relate to this poem! I invite you to read my poem A Slice of Paradise!
Hi Yasmeen, you are perceptive. This poem arrived following a Hu contemplation....it more or less is a record of that mystical moment. And yes, I feel that I have a gift, and God knows that I'm truly grateful to be in ITs service. If you are so moved, please let friends and family know of my poetry. Best wishes to you and yours in the coming New Year!
It has a touch of mysticism and profound thoughts and expresses peace within, a rare commodity bestowed by Providence.
Thank you Ramesh, I believe the poem touched you just as it touched me when it first flowed through. We often see IT in the eyes and smile of those touched by ITs love.

A nice poem that exudes a gentle aura and involves cognitive enigmas. Paul Hartal
