'A Son I Found In You' Poem by Linda Winchell

'A Son I Found In You'

For years I wandered helplessly bound
untill one day a son in you I'd found.

Although our miles be far apart
you have touched that special place,
and healed my broken heart.

Not of blood, but yet understanding my pain
given birth of a Mother, but now having a different name.

Questions sought and siblings too
all found in God's time, those missing parts of you.

Now reaching out to me in love
filling that emptiness, a gift from above.

Thank you for your hands, friendship extend
and all the love to me you send.
