A Son's...

...hands know early
they can kill their father
but don't
as they're not the paws
they become
when they stay at home
too long.

Then, they go mad
bare their claws
kill their dad.

Dad's last words
on the floor,
'Show them the door
before hands become paws.'

A family no longer due to these paws. An incredibly sad story and we know that there are so many more yet unheard. Thank You Douglas

I think they now say adolescence reaches into the 30's. I was gone from home at 16 years and made my way in the world. Perhaps that's now young, but you learn a lot early - stand up and know the world isn't all sunshine and roses.
