So when I'm on the ground.
And blood is pouring all around.
I'm not making a sound.
What do you do?

In the way that I was found.

Get me to the E.R.!
Call a doctor.
Forget my father.
Call my mother.
Can someone please help me!
I can see the light.
I try to fight it.
I think that this is it.
Is it the end of all of this?
Can someone please save me!

So what are you gonna do when I'm about to die?
Are you going to call the doctor or just sit and cry?
Or are you going to sing a song.
Hoping that we all sing along.
And then the next minute you realize that I'm gone?
F*** no!
Get me to the hospital.
Get me to the E.R.
I don't care about the amulance.
Get me into the f****** car!
Oh I don't wanna die.
I don't wanna die.
And if I do then I tried.
I tried to get along this hard fought life.
I resisted trying to grab a f****** knife.
Now theirs nothing left to do.
Just try and hold on and hope that when I wake up I see you.

My life starts passing by my eyes.
I see all those times when I laughed and when I cried.
I looked so hard but a broken heart is all that I could find.
My life starts fading.
I'm starting to go blind.
As the seconds go by.
I start to realize that I'm about to die.
I try to stay awake.
But the pain is more than I can take.
It's time to say all my last goodbyes.
As I start talking I can see the hurt in their eyes.
As they all know these are my last goodbyes.
I try to get out all my very last words.
As I get them out my I look into her eyes.
One more pump of my heart and then it dies.

Lord this cannot be the end of me.
Their's so much more for me to see.
And I know their's something more for me to be.
All I ever wanted is for me to be seen.
I never wanted to f****** die!
Now I got a question.
Why God Why! ?
But I guess my questions will soon be answered.
Cause any second now I'll be lifted into the light.
I won't put up a fight.
I can't really tell if this is wrong or if this is right.
But I'll know by the end of the night.
Baby please don't ever live in fright.
Because for now on I'm always by your side.
I'll be there for you when you're shy.
I'll be right there when you begin to cry.

Right there always by your side.
