A Soul's Prayer Poem by Syed Mohammed Madah

A Soul's Prayer

Dear beloved kin!

I wish for thine long life,
Pray that thou never face strife,
God's blessings bestowed unto thee,
No further sorrows shall thine eyes see.

Thou follow the right path,
To secure thine soul from God's wrath.
Canst help thee, if me; O dear!
Grant me with most magnanimous forgiveness;
O most amicable peer!
Nay must thee reminiscence my any mistake,
Neither consider our fraternity as a fake.
Reminiscence must thee this poesy as pearls.
A call of a soul in this relent world.
The morrow to bring thee with solace.
No future sorrows must thee face!
