A Splendid World Poem by Obinna Kenechukwu Eruchie

A Splendid World

Rating: 4.1

With colours, a splendid world that does lush,
Bright and romantic that has blush.
There the dove-like spring of love does gush
With purity truly divine and hush.
The trees grow in abundance that does flush
The soul clean in a mild way that did rush.
'The air keeps the place cool' so tweets the thrush,
And the cattle upon the grass they brush.
Nemesis the scorn that nature did crush
Is rendered to be harmless as a mush.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Wow! Obinna you have used the same rhyme for every sentence. This is not easy, and is commendable, as you kept to the theme of a Splendid World. Great work. 10 Karin Anderson
