A State Of Tranquility Poem by John Delle Panlaqui

A State Of Tranquility

Rating: 5.0

Peace is a state of tranquility or directly an absence of war.
Is it freedom from civil disturbance? War is a state or period of fighting between countries or groups. In situations in which people or groups compete, there are political, cultural, and economic wars that the world is encountering today.

'STOP' is written on the palm and shaded with different colors, symbolizing diversity.

Differently, we are diverse through dissimilarity of our culture, unlikely in religion, faith, and belief, distinctive in personality and personal background, disparately in living standard and divided in social classification or social stratification, which cause of negative impact in the peace of our society. So, in this case, I'm for unity. To achieve a peaceful and orderly society, we must lessen or erase all the inhumane, wrongdoing and immoral act of people, such as VIOLATION of HUMAN RIGHTS, GREEDINESS, DISCRIMINATION, CORRUPTION, KILLING our MOTHER EARTH, etc.

STOP words symbolize cutting, disregarding, and erasing all these social issues our country faces today. I also wrote outside the hand the different negative words or problems of our society but gave more emphasis to the following:

STOP KILLING NATURE! Our Mother Earth!
Remember, as God's highest form of his creature, and we must take good care of our co-creation, such as our environment, and morally, we should sustain it for our future siblings and generation.

STOP the VIOLATION of HUMAN RIGHT!
RESPECT the RIGHTS of others.

According to the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION of HUMAN Rights, Article 1 says: We are all equal even if we are different in many ways because we're HUMAN BEING no matter what is our background, religion, status in life, gender, location, etc.

We must treat others fairly.

STOP DISCRIMINATION! PROMOTE GENDER EQUALITY!
Machismo's view of our society, racial discrimination, and Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trans-gendered bullying are the common problems that both women and members of the LGBT are facing today. Different issues, but they fall into one category, which is GENDER DISCRIMINATION.
