A Sweet Drowning Poem by Nithin Pradeep

Deep within, though an unmanned cave so pristine,
the river love in all its glory flows.
in bursts of exuberance overwhelming my senses,
I hopelessly fall prey to the river and drown
submitting my life and my all..
To the river she adds,
the sweet essence of all I need.
A seraphic beauty that kisses my soul,
she brims with the richness of her intangible love..
I bathe myself in her effervescent charm,
and shine with the million sequins tattooed over me,
star-shaped symbols for the love that boils within..
Today I go for the umpteenth dip into the depths,
to bask in the light that eludes her eyes,
it lights up my mind and kisses my insides
for she's my sunshine, the aura I consume..
wish i could capture the rays from the glow of her smile
and paste it onto my eyelids, so,
for everyday consciousness walks past my entry and exit,
she's my beginning, my end..
