A Swirling Wind Poem by Geoffrey Fafard

A Swirling Wind

A swirling wind
Came licking the ground
Sucking up all things gross
But we of human kind
Replanted the seeds of bad
Covered the earth and sea
So bad was it
That the swirling wind
Said stuff the lot of you
Packed its bag and went
On a beautiful holiday
Into timeless space
And swept around
All the beautiful
Distant galaxies
