A Tension: Faith Vs Works Poem by J. D. Martin

A Tension: Faith Vs Works

If you keep on sinning
You're not saved the pastor cries.
But we are not saved by works
The pastor as quickly denies

There is a tension here
That is not too easy to be missed
There is a tension here
That the pew has always missed

It's that we are saved by grace
Apart from anything. Alone
But there are many fakes
Serving satan on his throne.
