More than a happy Thanksgiving
We wish you this year.
More than a festive, social gathering
With your loved ones so dear.

More than precious moments
With friends loyal and true,
More than the sage, turkey dressing
Prepared especially for you.

We wish you the blessing
Of that first Thanksgiving Day
When the Pilgrims told their story
And efforts of survival marked the way.

We wish you security unending
With freedom and a life free of tears.
We wish peace in the entire world
Through all the forthcoming years.
