As usual came morning with its hues;
Cool, calm, serene and glorious,
Wished today to be immersed with
Peaceful thoughts of Heaven only,
When came a call not from far distance,
That after fighting for days, he is no more,
Calmness, coolness, serenity all shattered,
Felt myself plunging into darkness,
As if the world coming to an end,
Wishing to dry out all my eyes' tears,
Cried full and aloud to reach the ears of God,
Reached safe and happy with Him,
Came the message from God,
With tears rolling down my cheeks,
Flowers showering on him,
Loves gushing forth for him,
And wishes never ending.....
Paid rich tribute to him,
Wishing to see him in Heaven,
When my pilgrimage ends.........
