There was no moon in the sky
Only the flicker of a gas flared faraway
And I could feel the premonition
Of dawn of love surfacing in the horizon
Casting aside the mystery of morning gloom
Through green foliage sprang forth his breath of balm
Looking for the morning's flush
I saw a sun blooming in blush
Sending forth warmth and love to kindle
A light of hope and cheer within a soul
Coming near and nearer he knocked the door
Opening up I saw him a stranger
Yet young, tall, strong and a little coy
That filled me with sudden joy
Dressed exactly like me from head to toe
With Ray-Bans, Levis, Woodland shoes
Taken aback for a moment to the age of mythology
When humans had four arms, four legs and two faces biology
'Oh Zeus, is it us or something else
That is puzzling me nonetheless'
A little while after our amazed laughter, he said,
'For other half, one of us has to look different' and
I changed my clothes attire
But not my mind for I knew I'd be with him forever
Love...., love the excitement in your words. You made me smile with The Ray bans and The Levis. Just LOVE the laughter and the love. Uplifting words.
Very nicely envisioned. Love to Zeus is love to men that is eternal. Beautiful. Thanks a lot.
He seems to be very cool with all 'branded stuff' on his body! Two identities merged in love! Great imagination!
Love the maker of life well dressed and a merger of life and love that Zeus bestows...your vision in poetry wonderful...regards
