A typical day in the hood
by
Anthony Morrison-Santillan

Check out the Johnsons,
They’re so cool,
They’ve got a 55' flat screen TV
Yet they've got no food

Look at the smiths,
Their rims are so clean,
They’ve got Pirelli tires,
Yet no money for bills.

Hey, it’s Mr. Johnson, look he's
Being carried away
It looks like they've finally
Caught him, for that TV he
Stole in the day

Hmm, there's Mr. Smith too,
I think his car is getting towed
Turns out he stole it from
The parking lot at home depot
