A Very Hot Talk Poem by Simon Matar

A Very Hot Talk

Rating: 5.0

Heart:
I dance, I sing, I make your life swing
I smile for a while, of joy, I let you sing

Mind:
But you cheat; you lie, and suffer from your pride
This Life, every life with you is such a rough ride

I speak, I think, I give your life some meaning
I stand, I run, I watch you always whining

I lit your street, your house, and your very own nights
I make it fair, and rare, I gave you all these rights

Heart:
You may have lit every road, every mall
But my love is that enlightens your soul

You can talk, but they are only words to utter
My music that makes it so much better

I pump your blood, I carry your air to breathe
Would you want your life simply to seize? ?

It's neither the equation nor the straight line
That makes every girl eyes in glory shine

It's the art, the paintings, the poems, these are mine
It's not the gold in the table, but the jewelry that are fine

Think no more, for I give your life some taste
Wake up, confess it, without me, it's only a waste

I'm good, I'm funny, maybe sometimes mean
But without me, what would it be than a dull routine?

Mind:
Huh, Machines can keep you alive, you'd be in a coma
When I'm dead, we're dead, you can't survive a trauma

You know what… I'd rather be so null & live tougher
I don't want to panic, and from you even more suffer

You can even be replaced with another heart
Have you seen a brain transplant even start? ?

You get depressed, so lost, you easily get in pain
Because of that, I can't study, work, or the least gain

I shall decide from now on, and the decision is taken
Don't try to resist for this time I'm fully awaken

Mind & Heart:
Body, Soul… just tell us whom you need more
What do you want, choose, who's the crucial core

Body & Soul:
Listen well…
Love is heart & mind when together they seat
Like rain and sun they rarely rarely meet
But rays of the sun that make rain in the end
How could we be that strong, and all the years spend
Taste that joy and with sorrow make the best blend
Show absolute respect and to life give that bend
It's not for its bitter taste, it's for the sweetness that comes later… my friend
