A Vivid Dream Poem by Buxton Shippy

A Vivid Dream

Rating: 5.0

As tightly as I held,
The moss-laden parapet,
I still feared slipping
To the assumed ground,
Unseen.
Before catastrophe set in
I awoke.
The day after
I gave birth to this poem.
Like it or lump it...
