Thank you for letting me be your superman
...for letting me be the one who sees into your soul when noone else can.
...for letting me be the one that protects you when the world hits you.
...for making me feel that I can protect you forever.
...for letting me share your secrets that only I can hear.
...for letting me touch the colours of your rainbow.
...for making me feel like i am invincible,
... and for letting me walk with you through this life...
... But there will be times when, through the chaos and turmoil of life, that I will trip on my cape and fall.
... and the Superman inside with stumble before you... vulnerable and human.
...These are the times that, just for one moment, I need you to hold my cape up out of the dirt so I can at least pretend to be your hero again.
