A Wise Owl

Rating: 5.0

The wise owl frowns,
does he think like me,
what can he see
of this world and me?

A great wise poem Bob. I have three girlfriends who collect owls so I am always looking for owls in any shape or form for birthdays. So I am always frowning, thinking what I can see to buy in the world of owls......10 love Karin

A nice piece of ancient spirit and wisdom. So short but so cohesive, dense, symbolic, for the world and ourselves. We want a wise owl to see the inner of ourselves. Only she, the wisdom, can see through. I give a full 10, dear poet Bob! Joseph Josephides - Member of the International Society of Poets (ISP) Intern.Library of Poetry awarded

well...as much as you see of this world and him... good imagery used...the meditating frowning owl beautifully indicating old age in the poem...10/10

I think the wise owl can think like you, but the wise owl would never let you know, because a wise owl never is in the knowing of, because once in the knowing of, it sets forth a resistance to learn.
