A Wish Poem by Khairul Ahsan

A Wish

Rating: 4.7

When it will be my time to go,
I won't bother about what you owe,
To me in cash, kind or measures of love,
I'll forgive you before my soul goes above.

When is the time for me to go,
I wonder how I'll come to know!
I want to requite before I go,
Everything that to you I owe.

Till my last days, I wouldn't like to wait,
So come and take the best from my plate.
Your care and concern I'll never forget,
Your eternal love is my perpetual debt.

'Your eternal love is my perpetual debt'. Indeed, well-said.

Thank you, dear poet @Aftab Alam Khursheed, for leaving behind an appreciative comment, to which I am replying five years and a half later. Sadly, you have left for Eternity in the mean time. May God rest your soul in eternal peace!
