A World Of Your Own Poem by David Harris

A World Of Your Own

Sometimes when the quiet descends
peace and harmony envelope you.
Thoughts become pure as the wind
that might ruffle your hair.
You descend into a relaxed state
where life becomes calm and non-destructive.
Your mind can then wander
over our beautiful world
or gaze at the millions of stars
that inhabit the night skies.
It can rejoice in its freedom
to go anywhere and do anything
as we sit and relax with no one there
in a world of your own.
