Aaj Nahi tu Kal (Urdu Poem)

Tal jaye gi ye bhi mushkil aaj nahi tu kal
chamkay ga apna mustaqbil aaj nahi tu kal

Mauj e bala le jaye baha kar saat samandar paar
saamne aa jaye ga saahil aaj nahi tu kal

tere teer e nazar ka maara jaan se kion na jaye?
dunya hee se jaye bismil aaj nahi tu kal

chalte rehna kaam he apna, maana safar dushwar
Rah bane gi apni manzil aaj nahi tu kal

Nafs e ammara se bach kar chalna tha dushwaar
hum sa bhi koi ho ga qatil aaj nahi tu kal

Izzat dolat shohrat hikmat sab hein maaya jaal
dil ko ye le doobain ghafil aaj nahi tu kal

Dhoondh reha hoon qirya qirya sara jug sansaar
khoj hee loon ga apna qatil aaj nahi tu kal

Ilm he aik samandar mazhur jiska nahi kinaar
doob ke pa le ga tu saahil aaj nahi tu kal

Chand see ujli soorat walay moonh na hum se chupa
Aao gay tum mere muqabil aaj nahi tu kal

jazba sachha ho tu mushkil koi nahi he kaam
koh e garaan bhi jayein ge hil aaj nahi tu kal

Aao piyar ki shamein jalaein roshan kar dein jag
jag mug preet se ho ga her dil aaj nahi tu kal

Ilm he aik samandar mazhur jiska nahi kinaar
doob ke pa le tu bhi saahil aaj nahi tu kal

Poem of the Day

poet Wilfred Owen

All sounds have been as music to my listening:
Pacific lamentations of slow bells,
The crunch of boots on blue snow rosy-glistening,
Shuffle of autumn leaves; and all farewells:
