Abort The Problem Poem by Ramona Thompson

Abort The Problem

No matter what we do
No matter what we say
It would seem there is no way
No way that our troubles are going away
World hunger
Homeless people
Politicians alway lying and denying
Mothers heartbroken and crying
Food stamp
White trash familys
Forced into life altering choices
They never dreamed as tiny hopeful children that they would ever have to make
Shattered
Ripped and torn beyond all repair
So damn useless and unfair
Again and again and again
Men and women
Mothers, fathers and children everywhere
Angry
Bitter
Insanity caving in what little is left of their hearts and minds
Broken
Defeated by not enough money
Not enough food to go around
Leading to the ulimate heartache
The death of an innocent human soul
Tell me
Tell me
Tell me world if you can
Is it really worth it?
Does it really solve anything at all to abort the problem?
No, I don't think it does
