Acception Poem by Amanda Braccia

Acception

A weight is lifted off me,
The clouds are clearing up.

The journey in from the sea,
Had been seemingly rough.

The colors are coming together,
And the sky is turning blue.

The questions begin to surrender,
And the answers are on cue.

It all comes together now,
Exactly as it should be.

The silence makes a sound,
After being under lock and key.

The fear washes away,
and fearlessness takes cover.

The light turned on today,
And darkness suffers a stutter.

It all makes sense now,
Looking back at the waves.

The journey came and went,
Myself from me I saved.
