What If Poem by Amanda Braccia

What If

Rating: 5.0

If I stand in the pouring rain,
Will it wash away my pain?

If I swim in the green ocean,
Will it drown my emotions?

If I lay under the blazing sun,
Will its rays pull out my fun?

If I lay in the white snow,
Will I finally understand, know?

If I catch an autumn leaf,
Will it touch my skin and spread peace?

If I don't wake up tomorrow,
Will anyone shed a tear of sorrow?

But if you were to love me today,
My pain would be washed away.

My heart smiled while I read your poem. I admire your blunt approach in each line. It made the poem bold and strong.
