According to a boss
According to a boss
There is no time to be lost
Not necessarily so
Are things let go
Most things are answered yes
Although
The core is, sooner than later, no.
According to a boss
No river is too wide to cross
No mountain too high to climb
No bell left without a chime
And no room, bed or bathroom
Left unvisited
There simply is no time!
According to a boss
He sees themselves among those
People who are ordinarily there
He shares their hope and despair
He senses those downstairs
When he’s upstairs
Makes sure he saves himself
When you’re not there!
According to a boss
Everything is covered with gloss
From the employee undiscovered
To the golden one recovered
To the fleeting one that hovered
To the one that went “rover….rover..”
According to a boss
There comes a boss who will wipe his moss
Dusts off his fears
That he had picked up for years
Tells him words like “Dear”
“I’m glad that the last thing I see of you
Is you rear! ”
