Acorn Squash From The Garden Poem by Marilyn Lott

Acorn Squash From The Garden

Rating: 5.0

They grew and then they grew some more
Popped that squash out in clusters
I gave so many away I cannot count
Almost more work than I could muster.

They grew amongst the pumpkins too
Oh my, much more than shoulda been
I found one hundred ways to cook
The acorn squash from the garden!

The first of any vegetable is a joy. By mid and late summer you can't give away enough. : -)
