Across Far Moons Poem by erin maher

Across Far Moons

Anytime I see you there is never a doubt, but a long stair.
My body trembles but my mind stays clear.
But when you are gone I question if we are the perfect couple.
The ones that will stay together forever and grow old with eachother.
Ones that will love and charish, go through marriage and death.
When can I possibly ever see you again, because when I do.
I'll stair into your beautiful eyes and at your wonderful smile.
My mind suddenly gets lost in the memories of what used to be.
When it was you and me, together, until one day.
Across far moons will I ever know for sure what ever happened to my love for you and yours to me.
